Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received CSTO Secretary-General Stanislav Zas, who is in Armenia on working visit.
Welcoming Stanislav Zas, the Prime Minister once again congratulated him on being appointed to such a responsible position. Highlighting the role of the CSTO in ensuring regional security, Nikol Pashinyan said, “We shall continue endeavoring towards enhancing the Organization’s efficiency.” Nikol Pashinyan stressed the need for close interaction in the face of emerging challenges and expressed hope that Stanislav Zas will be of great service in addressing different problems during his tenure.
The CSTO Secretary-General briefed the Armenian Prime Minister on the Organization’s programs and priorities for the near future, including the conduct of joint military exercises and international cooperation. The parties referred to the events scheduled for the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as to other issues of international and regional importance.
