ԵՌԱԳՈՅՆ. French-Armenian Anouch Toranian is one of the mayoral contenders of the 15th district of Paris. Toranian is a member of Socialist Party alongside Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris.
She holds a master’s degree in public law and international relations from the Panthéon Assas University and a second master’s degree in public administration from The Paris Institute of Political Studies.
In 2018, she was appointed director of the French branch of an international NGO which works for the socio-economic development of Armenia.
The city of Paris is divided into twenty arrondissements municipaux, administrative districts, more simply referred to as arrondissements.
