During a Facebook live video, the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan broke the news that a 2-month-old child was confirmed to have the coronavirus.
“I want to confirm that this is true. When reporters asked me about this yesterday, I simply had not been informed yet. The child does not have any symptoms. The mother had a fever for two days, but she no longer is experiencing any symptoms either. They are both in the hospital right now in doctors’ care. Everything is being done to ensure their comfort and to help them get better. However, I want to repeat that there is not much that needs to be done for them. I hope that they will be released from the hospital soon based on a negative test result,” Torosyan said.
