Chai Khana. Arpi and her friends started their long planned trip to Europe on March 3. Already, there were some concerns about the virus. They had discussed if they should cancel the whole trip. There was only one infected person in Armenia at that time, while in Europe only Milan was considered to be dangerous.
The trip started in Rome, at the airport, and continued to several other European cities. During the trip the virus started spreading all over Europe. Cities slowly started emptying. The group of friends had already decided to self-isolate for 14 days once they returned to Armenia. But after the Athens-Yerevan flight landed in Zvartnots, the flight attendant called out their names and everyone was asked to wait till they exited the plane.
An ambulance took Arpi and her friends to Tsaghkadzor to stay in quarantine for 14 days.
