As the governor of the Shirak province, Tigran Petrosyan, informed Aravot Daily, 10 people who were infected with the coronavirus are currently being treated at the Gyumri Infectious Antituberculosis Hospital. He also said that 3 patients have recovered, one of whom was from the Shirak province.
“Unfortunately, the resident of Maralik died yesterday from the coronavirus in Yerevan. It is important that we already have people from the Gyumri hospital who have recovered. One resident of our province was released yesterday after having completely recovered,” the governor said.
When asked if there are any suspected sources in the Ani region after the Maralik case, Tigran Petrosyan said, “We have been able to identify the circle of contact. Some of them are at the Gyumri Infectious Hospital and others are at other hospitals throughout the country. They are all in quarantine.”
