A 62-year-old resident of the Dzorakap village in the Ani region of Shirak died at the St. Grigor Lusavorich Hospital. The resident was confirmed to have the coronavirus several days ago. The Ani community leader, Artak Gevorgyan, confirmed this information in an interview with Aravot Daily. Gevorgyan said that the resident was a businessman who was vigorous and full of life. He owned an auto parts store and he also sold fertilizer.
This is the third death from the Ani region. Two residents of Maralik also died- two men aged 68 and 90.
In addition, the 19 healthcare professionals at the Maralik Health Center, as well as the head doctor, were confirmed to have the coronavirus.

In accordance with the State of Emergency commander’s decision, transportation to and from Maralik and Dzorakap is forbidden from April 19th at 6:00 AM to April 25th at 11:59 PM local time.
