On April 20-26, in total 221 cases were registered in the National Crisis Management Center of the Rescue Service of MES of the RA, 106 of which were emergent, including 29 cases of fire, 11 collapse, six rockfall, two landslide cases, a case of heavy snow, three cases of black ice and hail each, 30 road traffic accidents, four suicide attempts, as well as 77 household calls. As a result there were 56 casualties.
Nine cases of poisoning were registered: as a result there were 19 casualties.
Unfortunately, four cases of death were registered during the last week.
19 cases of transport means blockage were registered caused by weather conditions and other factors. The rescuers rendered support to 29 citizens and removed 25 means of transport blocked on the roadways to safe areas.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia urges to be as vigilant as possible and preserve elementary safety rules both in everyday life and on roads.
