The limitation placed on free movement will be removed as of May 4th. However, public transportation will not operate due to the risk of spreading the coronavirus. The Deputy Minister of Economy, Varos Simonyan, spoke about this during a press conference with reporters. According to him, almost all limitations will be removed aside from several types of business operations.
Simonyan said, “All major stores and malls will remain closed. Only small wholesale markets, produce markets, production industries, furniture producers, shoe factories, and textile factories will be allowed to operate within their vicinity. Only open-air restaurants and cafes will be allowed to operate, but it is forbidden for customers to be served indoors.”
The deputy minister continued, “Also, botanical gardens, parks, and sports clubs will operate. However, only events with professional trainers will be allowed to take place. Private services such as laundromats, cleaners, dry cleaners, and hair salons will also operate. All sectors will be provided with sanitation guidelines that must be strictly adhered to.”
