A parliamentary deputy from the Shirak province, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, was placed in self-isolation because she came into contact with a confirmed coronavirus patient six days ago. The patient’s test only came back positive yesterday, however.
In an interview with Aravot Daily, the deputy said, “I have isolated myself at my home in Yerevan. I am feeling well. I have not taken a test yet, but I will do so soon.”
The deputy was also quarantined back in March after returning to Armenia from Serbia. She had gone to Serbia on a working visit with National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan. She took a test at the time because there were doubts that she had come into contact with an infected individual at the airport, but her test was negative.
