On May 8, at 13:05 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that the river near Ranchpar village, Ararat province overflowed and the houses were flooded.
The operative group and one fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that with the increase of the water level of the Metsamor River, the lands of the residents of Ranchpar village were damaged.
It is necessary to open the second non-functioning water control valve with the help of a crane in order to lower the water level.
The works have been stopped: water control valve failed to open.
