The Shirak provincial administration presented new data on coronavirus cases in the region. It mentioned that two of the deaths that took place over the past few days were from the Ani region of Shirak. These two patients have been receiving treatment since the beginning in the capital.
Aravot Daily asked the head of the Ani community, Artak Gevorgyan, about the two patients who died. He said that one of them was 85 years old, and the other was 70. They were in-laws. The community leader said that the members of both of their families are currently in quarantine. They were not allowed to participate in the funeral. Only a few family members attended.
“I cannot say whether or not they died from the virus; I am not authorized to do so. I know that both of them had heart problems. They died in the capital,” Artak Gevorgyan said.
