Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, another consultation on the Government’s anti-crisis policy was held today in the Office of Government.
COVID-19 response efficiency was discussed during the meeting. In this context, the responsible officials dwelt on the efforts aimed at providing targeted assistance to the population. The ongoing economic measures were described as effective as they addressed the areas most affected by the crisis.
The proposed support tools were used by companies engaged in tourism, processing industry, services, construction, healthcare, etc. The speakers emphasized that the latest trends had shown that the problem of ensuring liquidity in the economy could be deemed as resolved.
Touching on the social programs, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan said the ongoing activities were rated as well-targeted and the number of beneficiaries was quite high as evidenced by the growing number of applications.

Reference was also made to the possibility of implementing new agricultural programs. In this context, the need for expanding sown areas, developing and implementing appropriate mechanisms was discussed during the meeting.
