Driver of “VAZ-2106” car died on the spot

On May 14, at 21:44 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that a car accident had occurred at the crossroad of Zaritap village, Vayots Dzor province.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the car “VAZ-2106” (driver Hakob T. born in 1972) and “KamAz” truck (dirver Levon Kh. born in 1966) collided on the 141 km of Yerevan-Meghri M-2 highway: driver of “VAZ-2106” car died on the spot.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of “VAZ-2106” car and closed the gas valve. The rescuers with special equipment took Hakob T.’s body out of the car and approached to the ambulance car.
