May 15,2020 19:00

Having standing passengers on public transportation is prohibited if the mode of transportation is longer than 9 meters. Sanitizing materials need to be placed near the doors of public transportation. It is mandatory that passengers wear protective materials, including masks and gloves, and they must sanitize their hands when they get on the bus. People who do not have personal protective materials are not allowed to use public transportation. The Deputy Minister of Economy, Varos Simonyan, spoke about the details of the State of Emergency Command’s decision to lift many restrictions on May 18th.

“These are strict rules and they will be enforced. Everyone must have their temperatures checked prior to entering a public venue. People who have high temperatures will not be allowed entry. People who have obvious symptoms, such as high temperatures, a cold, and cough will also not be allowed entrance. At the same time, they must present that information to the Ministry of Health hotline,” the deputy minister said.

According to him, all of these measures are aimed towards preventing the spread of the virus and to reduce the level of risk.

The deputy minister called upon business owners to enforce these rules and to follow them. He also demanded that they not open their businesses until they are able to follow all of the aforementioned conditions.
