“The coronavirus cases in the Armenian army are under control. I am not authorized to say how many cases there are, but I can say that the cases in the army are localized,” Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan told reporters.
“We did not have any cases that were unexpected. So, they all came from the circle of contact that we expected,” he assured.
Balayan said that the soldiers with the coronavirus are in good condition. “Not all, but most of them do not have any symptoms, but they are still under supervision. There are some cases of pneumonia, but they are not serious.”
