Prior to the competition, the First Deputy Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan had an online meeting with 56 applicants of “Yerevan bus program”.
During the meeting the applicants raised the questions related to the procedure of procurement and technical parameters of the buses. The tender documentation will be presented in electronic format on June 12 of this year.
Yerevan bus program will be implemented by the loan means of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, as a result of which Yerevan will have 100 new 12-meter buses which work on compressed natural gas. Trainings for drivers will be provided as well. It is planned to sign an agreement with the organization won the tender and the organization will also provide the technical maintenance of the buses.
