On May 24, at 10:49 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that car accident had occurred near “Payl” restaurant complex in Arinj village of Kotayk province.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department and the rescue squad from the Center for Carrying out Special Rescue Activities of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “KamAZ” (driver Artak K. born in 1993) and “Opel Astra” (driver Murad A. born in 1965) cars collided and the “KamAZ” car (loaded with gravel) turned onto its side making the roadway one-way passable.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars, closed the gas valve of the “Opel Astra” car and implemented cleaning activities of the roadway.
