EU NEIGHBOURS. The ‘EU4Business’ initiative has shared an article about an Armenian enterprise that previously increased its turnover by almost 80% and improved its sales by over 30% thanks to the programme ‘Advice for Small Businesses’.
As a result of this assistance from the EU, today the company provides food, catering and hospitality services to 1,500 COVID-19 patients and housebound individuals in Armenia during the pandemic.
The programme ‘Advice for small businesses’ is implemented by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and it provides entrepreneurs with access to know-how to improve their businesses. The programme offers consultancy services and advice in areas like strategy, marketing, operations, quality management, energy efficiency, financial management and more. The cost of these projects is shared between the enterprise and the EU.
