“We are keeping everyone who came into contact with a confirmed case at the center of our attention because we are all essentially a part of that group. Therefore, all of us need to pay attention and be careful,” the head of the My Step faction, Lilit Makunts, told reporters in an interview.
She said that she is currently consulting doctors and they are carrying out activities according to that advice. “Anyone who has the virus has been isolated. Those who came into contact with a confirmed case and who have symptoms or who may have symptoms are asked to take the test. If it is positive, then they obviously won’t come to parliament. But anyone who was present did not have symptoms, or if they did, then they were given a coronavirus test that came back negative.”
Upon the observation that news spread in the media that infected deputies participated in the discussion about the changes to the Constitution, Lilit Makunts said, “That information is not true. I also saw those articles in the news, but the deputies informed everyone immediately when they found out about the test. Therefore, no one participated in any sessions if they knew beforehand that they might have the virus.”
