“The Azerbaijani propaganda machine showcased its newest work. In response to statements made by some individuals and public figures about destroying some Azerbaijani military targets, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense made a statement about destroying the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant,” the command of staff at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, announced during a briefing with reporters.
He explained that no official statements have been made by the Armenian Armed Forces about destroying any Azerbaijani civilian, military, or non-military objects. However, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan threatened to destroy the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant. “Even more, no home in any Azerbaijani village was targeted by our military. I am happy that our politicians, diplomats, and spiritual leaders are discussing this issue with the appropriate agencies because this needs to come to a conclusion. This is a crime,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan added.
