On July 21, at 09:38 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that there had been a gas leak from the car parked at the beginning of Artashesyan street.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Opel Vectra” (driver Armen A.) and “Opel Astra G” (driver Vardges R.) cars collided at the crossroad of Artashesyan and H. Hovhannisyan streets and the passenger of the “Opel Vectra” car Vaghinak A. (born in 1956) was hospitalized to “Erebouni” medical center, where was discharged after receiving appropriate medical assistance.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery, closed the gas valves of the cars and blocked off the scene.
