Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a consultation, which discussed the interim report of the Entrepreneur + State Anti-Crisis Investments Fund of the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF).
The meeting reviewed progress in the investment programs implemented in the framework of cooperation between the state and the private sector. 6-7 investment programs are being discussed with foreign investors, the promotion of which is hindered by the fact that the borders are closed due to COVID-19. Despite this, work is underway with potential investors and ANIF will submit a new report in a month.
The meeting participants came up with proposals on investment incentives, mechanisms and criteria for implementation of programs and risk management tools. Other investment-related ideas were discussed during the exchange of views that followed. .
Prime Minister Pashinyan tasked the responsible officials to submit new proposals on the government’s anti-crisis economic measures.
