From a Pan-Armenian perspective

There are people who have Armenian last names, but they do not consider themselves to be Armenians. That is their decision and I do not think that we need to shame them for that. There are even more Armenians who accept that they are Armenians, but they do not respect our country’s sovereignty. They include people such as Margarita Simonyan and Tigran Keosayan. I think that the number of such people is somewhere in the tens of thousands and they do not only live in Russia. What should we do with people like them? There are two options. We can insult them, curse them, and dismiss them, or we can try to find ways to talk to them. We can explain to them in a civilized manner that Armenia has legitimate authorities that the citizens of Armenia may be dissatisfied with. However, Armenians who are not Armenian citizens need to speak about our authorities with respect.
