On August 12, at 23:15 an emergency call was received to Regional crisis management national center that car accident had occurred near Taperakan village on M-2 roadwat.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Ararat Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “BMW” (driver Vahagn H. born in 1980), “Reno” (driver Gevorg I. born in 1992), “ZIL” (driver Lyudvig H. born in 1990), “ZIL” (driver Hovhannes Ye. born in 1977) and “Opel Astra G” (driver Sargis A. born in 1993) cars collided on the 35th kilometer of Yerevan-Yeraskh roadway.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passenger of the “BMW” car Kristibe A. (born in 1978) was hospitalized to “Erebouni” medical center.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries, closed the gas valves of the cars and implemented road cleaning activities.
