Urban Development Council confirms one of three submitted projects

August 18,2020 22:00

Three projects were discussed at the regular meeting of the Urban Development Council adjunct to Yerevan Mayor. Yerevan Mayor, the chairman of the Council Hayk Marutyan didn’t participate in the voting due to his leave of absence.
The members of the Council voted for the draft of the design of the office building at 18/2 M. Baghramyan avenue but insisted on adding some changes in it. In particular, the developer is to reduce the number of storeys. The adjacent community-owned area was proposed as a parking area, but Mayor Marutyan objected to this proposal explaining that safety requires not to construct a parking space in this area.

The drafts of the construction of hotels at 1/9 Myasnikyan avenue and 22 Moskovyan street were withdrawn from the agenda. At the same time the developers were offered to reconsider their projects and work out more feasible ones.
