Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Rev. Father Archimandrite Kirakos Davtyan had a meeting with the representative of UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Hasan Khalil.
During the meeting the representative of UN Children’s Fund presented activities and programs implemented by UN Children’s Fund in Georgia. Those programs also include the religious and national minorities of the country. The guest touched upon and told expressing his satisfaction about his visit to Javakheti on July and then the seminar organized there.
Rev. Father Kirakos Davtyan informed Hasan Khalil about various educational and cultural activities carried out in the Armenian Diocese in order to protect children’s rights. He also presented the activities of the preschool and groups of the Diocese.
Hasan Khalil mad a suggestion to organize a meeting and seminar by UN Children’s Fund in the Diocese, in particular, in ”Hayartun” Center, on November. The suggestion was approved by the Diocesan Primate.
