On September 1, at 02:08 an emergency call was received to Regional crisis management center that car accident had occurred near Saravan village: car had ran off the roadway and rolled into the river.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Vayots dzor Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that ”Toyota Camry” car (driver sevak Kh. born in 1988) had ran off the roadway and rolled (about 10 meter) into the coast of the river Darb on the 153rd km of Yerevan-Meghri section of M2 roadway.
The rescuers closed the gas valve: special equipment is needed to take the car onto the roadway.
