Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during his working visit that the road in the Movses village of Tavush will be paved. The locals could not remember the last time their village had a paved road.
“It may have been one hundred years ago,” they were saying half-jokingly.
“We’ve been discussing paving that road since 2018. If the community did not expand, that project would not have had the same level of participation. We believe that the road in Movses and Abovyan street in Yerevan should have no difference in quality, and the people living on those streets should feel no difference. This village, which has a 300-year history, will be having a paved road for the first time,” Nikol Pashinyan announced.
The Prime Minister had also visited the Chinari village of Tavush.
