Journalists at Yerablur asked the head of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Sasun Mikayelyan, to discuss an announcement made by the Dossier Center.
According to the announcement, Russia has agents in almost all the departments of the Armenian government. The announcement also mentioned the names of former directors of the National Security Service, including Karlos Petrosyan, Georgi Kutoyan, and Artur Vanetsyan.
“That is an issue of our internal security. The NSS is responsible for our internal security so that such things do not happen. If we are taking that towards Russia, or even the West and Europe, then you must understand that that is our internal issue and we need to be tougher,” Sasun Mikayelyan said.
According to him, Armenia is not only at war against Azerbaijan, but Turkey as well. “That is why we must be careful in our relationships with other states. In case our interests coincide, Armenia is Russia’s gate, so Russia must help Armenia. And you know that we must be on our best behavior and use the correct policies as these larger states rearrange themselves. We do not want to place an emphasis on Russia, America, the West, or Europe.”
