News spread this morning that Azerbaijani general Mayis Barkhudarov was wounded and fell prisoner “according to several sources.”

The Artsakh1am website, using the Azerbaijani Genc Bozqurdlar news site’s Facebook page as a source, said that Azerbaijani general Mayis Barkudarov was wounded and fell prisoner according to news coming from the border.

Aravot Daily asked a representative from the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, whether or not this news was true. “I do not have such information. Once again, I ask that you avoid spreading such sources without official confirmation,” Hovhannisyan said.
