EU NEIGHBOURS. The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to regional policy. Every year, it brings together European regions and cities to promote lessons learnt and good practice on regional policymaking.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s edition will be held online. From 5 to 22 October, more than 500 events will be organised around three thematic priorities: Empowering Citizens, Cohesion and Cooperation, and Green Europe.
From 19 to 22 October, the programme is fully dedicated to the Green Europe theme, with a variety of sessions focusing on localising the green deal, energy efficiency and biodiversity.
Registration for the Green Europe sessions is open until 14 October.
