Today at 10:30AM, F-16 fighter jets belonging to the Air Force of the Republic of Turkey took off from Ganja Airport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and were implementing UAV missile strikes from Azerbaijani “Daylar” airport against the RA Vardenis region, Vardenis, Mets Masriq, Sotq RA settlements and the land unites of the Armenian Armed Forces from Azerbaijani SU-25 and Turkish production “Bayraktar” UAV.
During that period RA Armed Forces Air defense troops subdivisions were performing fire support task. While performing the combat task, during the aerial battle, the RA Defense Army Airforce SU-25 fighter jet was downed in the area of the RA by the F-16 multifunctional jet of the Air Force of the Republic of Turkey.
The pilot, unfortunately, died heroically.
The F-16 multifunctional fighter jet of the Republic of Turkey, according to the objective searching means, was found at the depth of 60m, at an altitude of 8200 meters.
