“Last night, all of Azerbaijan’s attempts at infiltration were pushed back. At the moment, Azerbaijan has suffered huge losses of military personnel and equipment,” the press secretary of the President of Artsakh, Vahram Poghosyan, told reporters during a briefing.
“Azerbaijan managed to advance for a few hours, especially at the time of the offensive. Our army has completely suppressed Azerbaijan’s offense. We continue to face the challenge. I want to emphasize that Artsakh supports peace as it did decades ago. We believe that the Artsakh conflict needs to be resolved through peaceful negotiations,” he stressed.
According to Poghosyan, there aren’t huge problems facing infrastructure and activities are continuing as normal. “Problems mainly arise in areas that are shelled upon by the opponent.”
Vahram Poghosyan also emphasized, “If Azerbaijan continues with its aggression, I can’t imagine that the Defense Army will only be satisfied with restoring its former bases. The authorities of Artsakh have stated that the responsibility for the offensive will be borne by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan.”
