“What can I say? I don’t know what to say. Shavarsh was a unique young man. He cared for everyone, he was respectful. All someone needed to do was get upset over something, and he would come and try to comfort them. He always wanted to help,” said Karine Vardanyan, who was a teacher of Shavarsh Muradyan, a resident of Kapan who died in Artsakh.
Shavarsh went to the N 7 school in Kapan, after which he continued his education in the United States as part of an educational program. After he returned, he studied at the American University of Armenia and worked at a bank.
“He was full of life. He would always talk about his future plans and his motivation to help Armenia, but all of his plans were left unfinished,” Karine Vardanyan said.
By the way, Shavarsh did not tell anyone at home that he was going to the frontline. His brother is also serving in Artsakh.
Shavarsh is the son of a well-known freedom fighter and commander of a combat detachment, Martun Muradyan. Vahagn Hambardzumyan wrote on Facebook, “Dear Martun, I honor the immortal memory of your son… Rest in peace, hero. What a pity. You were in a hurry, you met your father’s immortal friends before he did…”
Shavarsh’s father posted a photo on the morning of September 29th captioned, “Stay strong, my children. Come home victorious.”
