Residential buildings have been damaged in Stepanakert as a result of attacks by Azerbaijan. Aravot Daily visited those buildings the day after the attacks.
The residents were near the building. Some of them were closing off their apartment windows and cars with plastic. They were creating conditions that would enable them to move back into their homes.
Artur Adamyan was celebrating his 54th birthday when the attacks took place. “We had already eaten dinner and we wanted to drink coffee when we heard the explosion. You don’t believe it until you see it. We went outside and saw that the roof had been hit.”

The residents immediately went into the bunker, but Artur returned to his apartment that night. “We are brave. They just want to make us scared, but it won’t work. They think that they’re powerful with their weapons, but it is only temporary. This is all temporary, everything is going to be fine. I am a little old, so they won’t send me to the front, but I am always ready. If they call me, I will go. Everything will be fine.”
The apartment windows were also damaged. “That’s nothing. Material losses are not true losses; we can replace a house and car. Everything is going to be fine. No one is scared. They just are attacking civilians and lying left and right, but the whole world knows that they are lying.”
