Our boys are heroically fighting against the enemy in battle. Those who know how to fight joined the war effort as volunteers. But those of us who remained in the rear also have an important job to do. It’s clear, isn’t it, that the role of doctors fighting against the coronavirus did not lose importance during the war? Just the opposite- their mission, in my opinion, is even more important both from a healthcare and security standpoint. Or, teachers should not do a poor job because of the war, nor should students perform worse. We need educated and patriotic citizens and soldiers both now and in the future. It’s not a coincidence that the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, did not forget to congratulate teachers on World Teacher’s Day. He said, “Those people who have such dedicated teachers and generations celebrate and will only celebrate victories.” And his press secretary, Vahram Poghosyan, said that benefits for the citizens of Artsakh will be distributed on time to their bank accounts. A war does not mean that people should not receive their benefits. The same goes for any other sector; the work of all state and private institutions is equally important.
