Today Artsakh and Armenia are literally on a front line in a fight against international terrorism. However, this time there is a certain difference: the enemy, who has threatened the very existence of a universal civilization, has attacked our country under the cover of a UN member state and, in alliance with this very state, even very often replacing its regular Armed Forces.
In modern times, when one cannot conceal anything from anyone, we witness first hand and with evidence a penetration of the international network of jihadists into Azerbaijan. No state now doubts that the peaceful populations of Artsakh and Armenia are the primary targets of this monstrous terrorist network. It targets our cities and villages, our right to live free, and to order our destiny.
Today Turkey, which is consistently feeding this network and controls it with the support of Baku’s egotistical ruling elite, uses Azerbaijan as an instrument for the establishment of international terrorism’s new hot bed in the South Caucasus. I am sure that every responsible actor in international politics – state or organization – clearly understands the dangerous consequences of these developments. All of us still remember the jihadists’ attempt to establish a state entity within the territories of Iraq and Syria. All states must impede Turkey’s plans to transform the South Caucasus into a terrorism nest.
