The government and its supporters need to understand that now is not the time to settle differences with their opponents. Those who are part of the opposition need to understand that during the current war, they need to unite around the commander in chief regardless of who that is. After this stage of the war is over, everyone will go on their own paths. But I think that we also should avoid debating and abusing cherished topics after the war. In particular, I do not think that we should create a commission in the next government called the “Commission Examining the Circumstances of the September War.” Even more, I think that we need to be constrained and sensitive towards one another during any debate even in peacetime.
