Europe’s interstate highways are jammed: Armenians close Belgium-France border

October 16,2020 15:02

Armenians in Europe closed the Belgium-France border, which caused there to be traffic jams on the interstate highways from France to Switzerland, Spain, and Belgium, as well as from Belgium to the Netherlands, and from the Netherlands to Germany.

They were chanting, “Erdogan, terrorist!”

The protesters announced that they demand the recognition of Artsakh’s independence.

They carried posters displaying the consequences of war crimes committed by Azerbaijan against civilians in Artsakh.

“This happened on its own. These protests do not have organizers. We are in this all together for Artsakh and Armenian soldiers. The French side agreed to our demand and a journalist came to report. We agreed with the police to get in our cars on the French side because a journalist came. But we have not done so on the Belgian side yet. The police said that they will use water cannons. In any case, we decided to open the Belgian side because we are not the aggressors. We only want them to listen to our protests so that the uninformed people of Europe will be more aware,” one of the protesters said.
