Of course, there are interests, money, oil and gas pipelines, economic plans, and everything else that is created by modern policy. And in that case, let’s not lie to ourselves: Turkey and, to a lesser extent, Azerbaijan, are more important to Europe than Armenia. For the most part, Europeans and Americans are not concerned with our fate, despite the fact that they may express favor towards Armenia on some level. From a political perspective, we are perhaps of interest only to Russia and Iran. Some of the interests of those countries coincide with the interests of Armenia, and our political tactics must be based on those circumstances. Another issue is the choice of civilization, including the values on which the state was built. I believe that issue was resolved over 1,700 years ago, and there’s no need to change anything here.
