EU experts to advise Armenian colleagues on environmental risk management

EU NEIGHBOURS. From 29 October to 4 November, experts from Spain will meet online with representatives from Armenia’s Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body.

The aim of the video conference is to provide guidance on strengthening the institution’s capacity on inspection and control in the area of environmental risk management. The Spanish experts will also offer advice on best practice, and relevant EU legislation and standards, with a focus on methodology, tools and professional skills.

The meeting will include practical case studies from Spain and other EU administrations to illustrate the guidance provided.

The workshop is organised by the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange (TAIEX) instrument of the European Commission, and the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of Armenia.
