In a briefing with reporters, the head of the Bright Armenia faction, Edmon Marukyan, called upon Armenians living outside of Armenia. “Be as careful as possible, and do not give into Turkish-Azerbaijani provocations.”
During a peaceful demonstration in France, Turkish individuals beat an Armenian with a hammer.
“After that attack, Turks held protests in several of France’s largest cities, shouting, ‘Where are you, Armenians?’ This can cause violence among people in residential areas. Do not take the conflict to places outside of the battlefield. I call upon our fellow countrymen to be careful and avoid any activities that can cause violence. It doesn’t matter which country,” Edmon Marukyan said.
“This is dangerous, and we saw this after the July skirmishes as well,” the deputy said.
