In politics, especially in international relations, the emotional factor is almost irrelevant. Emotions are often left in the background. The pathologies of Talaat Pasha, Hitler, Pol Pot, Erdogan, or Aliyev may be of interest to some psychiatrists, but from a political point of view, but in reality, what’s important is the real or illusory interests of their countries that they have committed crimes in order to satisfy. And this does not only apply to the obvious criminals, but also to the leaders of all countries and all politicians. During the war, the attitude of part of the Armenian society intensifies. They claim that Armenians are alone in the world and everyone is against us. This causes “anger” against Israel, Ukraine, Russia, the United States, Europe, and, in short, everyone else. Due to that, some of our outraged compatriots may send “open letters” here and there. Instead of displaying such an emotional attitude, we need to understand what the economic and political interests of those countries are, and realize how much they coincide or contradict our own interests.
