‘We strongly condemn that appalling crime, and express our solidarity and unequivocal support to the Government and people of Austria’

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a condolence message to Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz over the terrorist attack in Vienna. The message reads:

“Excellency,

I was deeply saddened to learn of the terrorist attack in Vienna, which claimed several innocent victims and injuries.

We strongly condemn that appalling crime, and express our solidarity and unequivocal support to the Government and people of Austria.

The people of Armenia, who are currently fighting against mercenary terrorists in Nagorno-Karabakh, have full understanding of your sorrow and share the sentiments of the friendly people of Austria.

We hereby extend our condolences to victims’ families and loved ones, wishing them endurance and fortitude, as well as a speedy recovery to the injured.”
