I do not have any doubts about the war being the “final way.” We simply need to prepare ourselves for the fact that it may take a long time. By “prepare,” I mean that government agencies, the economy, society, and Armenians everywhere will need to live in a state of war for weeks or even months. To not get tired and disappointed, and to do our everyday work with the same enthusiasm will seem easier for those who have already seen war and have dealt with even worse conditions. Without sounding naive or idealistic, I believe that there is another factor that will bring us closer to victory- internal harmony. We should set aside hostility and doubt, and ten million Armenians should treat one another with kindness and respect. I believe that is a powerful force. As one of our favorite priests said, our country needs a peaceful agenda. And so, that is the key to success.
