“This is the last fight. We must stand to fight and finish it,” the former deputy minister of defense and council member of the Freedom Fighters Union, Gagik Melkonyan, told Aravot Daily regarding a statement made by the advisor to the President of Artsakh, Vahram Poghosyan, about how Shushi is no longer under Armenian control.
Gagik Melkonyan did not wish to analyze the purpose of this statement. But one thing is clear, according to him, “The army and all of the volunteer units are standing firmly everywhere, including in Shushi. There is no need to panic. They are standing, and they will remain standing,” General Gagik Melkonyan said.
