Humanity and the state

Hatred still contributes to the preservation of power, and the main political resources of the government still remain the hatred of the former regime and the almost superstitious fear of the return of the former regime’s “ghosts.” But for the sake of justice, it should be noted that now there is hatred against the government, which will continue to spread due to the losses, casualties, and growing numbers of migrants, and in general, after the national tragedy. And that hatred is just as destructive as the hatred instigated by the government. One of the main manifestations of that hatred, for example, is sharing the picture of the desecrated statue of Vazgen Sargsyan in Shushi in the hope that it “catches the authorities’ eye.” Apart from propaganda, one of its main goals was also to hurt the national hero’s brother, Aram Sargsyan (who, by the way, is not in power at all). Trying to hurt anyone is, of course, condemnable. But in this case, the state and humanity are contained in one complex. That is not so much a blow to the government or our relatives as it is to our national dignity.
