Aravot Daily wrote earlier that according to Mushegh Alaverdyan, the acting head of the Kashatagh regional administration in Artsakh, the residents of Berdzor were being evacuated due to the fact that the status of the city remained unclear.
News spread across the media that the residents of Berdzor, Aghavno, and Sus are able to return and continue living in their homes. Aravot Daily once again got in contact with Mushegh Alaverdyan about this.
– Alaverdyan, has the situation in Berdzor, Aghavno, and Sus changed? What is taking place in these communities?
Additional security measures have been included at this time. Due to the lack of these guarantees, I, as the head of the region’s civil defense, decided earlier that it would be best to urge the population to leave those settlements. At the moment, I used all possible means (we have no Internet connection) that the residents can stay and continue on with their peaceful lives and activities.
