Today brief information on emergency systems, shelters and wintering activities in the provinces was presented during the weekly working consultation led by Ara Nazaryan, the First Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the assignment of the Minister of Emergency Situations, the basements of the apartment buildings and hiding places of all the provinces of the Republic were inventoried, the possibilities of using them as a shelter were adjusted, and if necessary, to bring them in proper condition.
It was reported that the mechanical sirens are still being repaired and tested, and the rescue departments are ready to implement winter activity. The structural and regional subdivisions received a number of assignments on the issues raised.

By the order of the Minister commander of the Fire and Rescue Commandant Squad of Collective Center of Civil Defense Forces of Civil Defense Department, r/s Major Hayk Sargis Nikoghosyan was awarded the rank of r/s Lieutenant Colonel, Head of the Artashat Fire and Rescue Squad of Ararat Regional Rescue Department, r/s Senior Lieutenant Sergey Hovhannes Sekhlayan was awarded r/s captain rank, Head of the rescue squad from the Center for Carrying out Special Rescue Activities of the Rescue Forces Department, r/s Lieutenant Davit Samvel Hayrapetyan was awarded the rank of r/s Senior Lieutenant, Head of the rescue squad group from the Center for Carrying out Special Rescue Activities of the Rescue Forces Department, r/s Lieutenant Norayr Smavel Avagyan was awarded the rank of r/s Senior Lieutenant.
