On December 8, at 04:14 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik regional crisis management center that a fire had broken out in a car on Yerevan-Ijevan highway.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Reginal Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Range Rover” and “ZIL” (driver Shahen G. born in 1978) had collided on the 53th km of Yerevan-Ijevan highway.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the corpse of a passenger of “Range Rover” had been taken to the medical center of Sevan town by ambulance car. The rescuers took the corpse of the driver of “Range Rover” out of the car and moved to ambulance car, the driver and the passengers Ararat M. (born in 1956) and Moveses M. (born in 1963) of “ZIL” were taken to the medical center of Sevan town where receiving necessary medical aid were discharged.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
